1.How to perform NAMASKAARAM:
==========================

Touch the Left Foot of the Guru with your Right Hand and His Right Foot with your Left Hand and perform the Namaskaaram.

2.AUM’ kaara is Parabrahman by itself. Chanting AUM kaara (AUM kara japam) is 10 times superior than performance of Yajnas, when done without being heard by any other person it is 100 times superior. When chanted in the heart in silence, it is 1000 times superior ---[ Manusmrithi 2.83 – 85. ]

3.To ask the caste and Gothram of a guest and then providing him food is equal to feeding the guest with the food that is vomited --- [ Manusmrithi3.109.]

4.The ritual of the Pithrus (ancestral spirits) is more important than the ritual of Gods---[ Manusmrithi 3.203.]

5. It is only by the performance of the Sandhyaavandanas that the Rishis have become long-lived and attained fame, divine powers and immense talents --- [Manusmrithi 4.94]

6. It is only by regular practice of deep and long meditation that the recollection of memories of previous birth can be attained --- [Manusmrithi 4.148.]

7.Only by practicing of Aachaaraas (rituals of righteousness) one can attain long life, wealth and good progeny --- [Manusmrithi 4.156.]

8. One should never eat the food that is served carelessly, even when it is served by a Vedic scholar who chants Vedas--- [Manusmrithi 4.225.]

9.One should never tell another person the charity which he made or donation he gave to others --- [Manusmrithi 4.236.]

10. The Praanaayaama that is done along with AUM kaara is highly auspicious. It cleanses all defects and sins related to senses --- [Manusmrithi 6.70.]

11.There is no need to lament that due to not having children, one may go to Narakam, as great sages like Valakhilya and others attained Moksha even by staying as Brahmachaaris throughout their life --- [Manusmrithi 5.160.]

12.She who, controlling her thoughts, speech, and acts, violates not her duty towards her lord, dwells with him (after death) in heaven, and in this world is called by the virtuous a faithful ( sadhvi)
