1.Eye movement Tracking lie detector
Researchers at the University at Buffalo trained a system to detect lies with 82 percent accuracy by observing eye movements alone
They have determined that lying requires more work than telling the truth, so they look for indications that the subject is working hard. Eg -- a person who is being dishonest may have dilated pupils and take longer to read and answer the questions.
2.Neuro-science based lie detectors
- electroencephalography-based technique-The theory behind this is that the brain processes familiar information differently from new information.
- fMRI relies on measuring the hemodynamic response to increased neural activity. your brain will send more blood to the ventrolateral area of your prefrontal cortex when you lie
3.Brain-Scanning Lie Detectors
4.Narco-Analysis
5.USB polygraphs
If you torture the data long enough, it will confess.
