I have read a few articles that say shampoos with sodium lauryl sulphate damages hair.

so before buyng a shampoo Check the ingredients listed on the bottle & see if they have this substance by the name of Sodium Laureth Sulfate or simply SLS [sic],(SLES)....

it is a synthetic detergent (cleaning agent) and surfactant (means the one that causea bubbles) used in soaps, shampoos and toothpastes etc
