True story... below !
Dashrath Manjhi, an impoverished laborer from India's lowest caste, embarked on the monumental endeavor after his wife Falguni died in 1959 because she had not been able to receive urgent medical care in time having been involved in an accident.
Getting to the nearest town involved going around the mountain, a 55-kilometre (34-mile) journey, and Manjhi didn't wanted even other villagers to suffer the same fate. That mountain stood in the way of his village & the town which had a hospital & so the villagers had to go around the mountain to reach there
" Each & every day for 22 years of his life...he used to get up in the morning only to dig that mountain all alone ....He turned a deaf ear to all negative people (the so called practical/realistic ),to all critics...to all those who made fun of him,to all those who laughed at him "
and all the villagers thought he was mad but he didn't give up and by the 23rd year - There was an awesome way through the Gahlaur mountain reducing the distance to cross it from 50kms to much less than 8kms !!!
Ask any Road Architect...what it takes to carve a 360 ft long & 30ft wide road through the hills ?
-------- but one like Manjhi just needs.....
one chisel,one hammer,one spade & 22 years

Let's learn to live!
Then there is no death,
save the transition, when desired....
Many live who have never died as yet.
Then there is no death,
save the transition, when desired....
Many live who have never died as yet.
