They said the origin of " Ommmmm " sound is from your own regular breathing pattern.Observe the sound " SO " when you Inhale & the sound " Hmm " when you exhale.
The " O " of S0 & " M " of Hmm became " OM "
Yeaaa...I did it myself & Much to my surprise my inhalations made the sound " Solo " and Exhalations made the sound " HUMmm " & It whispered to me " archu, you will be alive as long as this SOLO = HUM and HUM = SOLO " .
