There are two big forces at work,
external and internal.
We have very little control over external forces such as tornadoes,
earthquakes, floods, disasters, illness, and pain. What
really matters is the internal force. How do I respond
to those disasters? Over that, I have complete control - By Leo F. Buscalgia
- "We need to know how to generate joy and happiness in our daily lives as well as how to recognize and deal with our pain and suffering. The practice of mindfulness helps us to deeply enjoy every moment of life that’s given us to live. If we practice mindful breathing and mindful walking, we can connect with the wonders of our body; when we can connect with our body, we can connect with the Earth; and when we connect with the Earth, we can connect with the whole cosmos. The practice of mindfulness helps us to touch Mother Earth inside our bodies. The healing of our bodies and minds must go together with the healing of the Earth. This kind of enlightenment is crucial for a collective awakening. To be mindful is an act of awakening. We need to wake up to the fact that the Earth is in danger and that all living species are in danger, too.
- Invite your fears into consciousness, and smile through them; every time you smile through your fear, it will lose some of its strength
- You can't calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass.
Yaar,
Mens sana in corpore sano is a Latin phrase which means :
"a healthy mind dwells in a healthy body" - To be able to think well, you need to be cool in the absence of stress hormones - the mind and the body influence each other
Practice mindfulness. Start by focussing on your breath. Breath In Peace, Happiness, Love, Imagination, Breath out - worry, fear, stress, anger, confusion, etc. Proper deep breathing is smooth and even with an approximately equal duration of inhalation and exhalation.it will help you remain calm under stress because slow and shallow breathing, increased heart rate, etc are the body's usual responses when in fear /stress and you are countering it with your mindfulness. Deep breaths are excellent for reducing the production of adrenaline and cortisol, which are stress hormones. So, try to take deep and long breaths, and you will relax much quicker when you do it consciously, closing your eyes, placing a hand on your stomach and presently feeling your breath. Under extremely stressful situations, Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Focus on all of your physical sensations if needed and Enjoy every part of it.
Do you know what the Mother of the virus said to its children ???
Every time you fall, you should keep raising again and again and again. That's where your magic lies.
