Dr. Deepsikha Chettri from Gangtok is now a Captain in the Indian Army. She is the second female officer from Sikkim to ever serve in the Indian army. She is the daughter of Rajendra Kumar Chettri & Bindu Chettri. Her 8 month field tenure has started on the front lines (both as a doctor and a soldier)
