obscene

 ob·scene (adjective) - originated from middle French - obscenus, , from Latin - obscaenus (to soil; mud; filth )
Meaning :
1: disgusting to the senses : repulsive
2 a: abhorrent to morality or virtue ;
specifically : designed to incite to lust or depravity b: containing or being language regarded as taboo in polite usage <obscene lyrics> c: repulsive by reason of crass disregard of moral or ethical principles <an obscene misuse of power> d: so excessive as to be offensive <obscene wealth> <obscene waste>


 đꑉUttering obscene words near a public place is an offence under Section 294 of Indian Penal Code


Section 294 reads as under :


"Obscene acts and songs - Whoever, to the annoyance of others -

(a) does any obscene act in any public place, or

(b) sings, recites or utters any obscene song, ballad or words, in or near any public place, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine, or with both."
