Laughter is the best medicine - it kills STRESS one chuckle at a time!

It's a little-known fact that cancer cells can exist in our bodies, but a robust immune system is typically adept at detecting and eliminating these abnormal cells before they can cause harm. However, when our immune system is compromised due to factors such as stress, poor diet, lack of sleep, or underlying health conditions, the body's ability to defend against cancer cells diminishes. This underscores the critical importance of maintaining a healthy immune system, which serves as our body's natural defense against cancer.

It's crucial to remember that our bodies possess an incredible resilience, capable of keeping even cancer cells in check through a robust immune system. However, when we're stressed, not eating well, or not getting enough sleep, our body's ability to fight off these cells is diminished. Yet, stress doesn't have to dictate our lives; we have the power to choose how we respond to it.

It's like a spice - the right amount can add flavour to life, but too much can overwhelm us. Managing stress isn't about avoiding it altogether but rather learning how to handle it.

We can do this by choosing

  • our thoughts,
  • being resilient, and
  • finding calmness through techniques like meditation and conscious breathing.

Stress is a common part of modern life, but it doesn't have to dominate our lives. The power to manage stress and maintain a strong immune system is always within our grasp, empowering us to take control of our health and well-being.

During my MBA at Dr. YSR National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) :

When I walked into my MBA mock interview, I was all prepared to tackle it seriously by saying, " My name is Mary when my actual name is Archana ", and Trying acting for the first time in Life. So there I was, trying to maintain a straight face and project confidence. But just as I was about to unleash my carefully rehearsed answers, the most unexpected thing happened - I burst into uncontrollable laughter! 😂

Imagine the scene - me giggling like a maniac while everyone in the classroom stared at me in wonder. The more I tried to compose myself, the harder I laughed. And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, Trainer solemnly declared, "Ah, I see you're really feeling the stress of this interview." 😆

And that was it. The whole class laughed, including the Trainer, who was probably not expecting such a comedic turn of events.

But hey, at least I managed to break the ice and lighten the mood, right? 😅

Already, I was officially crowned the "universal sister" of my college, and now jokes about me have become complete with another silly behaviour of mine.

Who knew that a mock interview could turn into a stand-up comedy show?
