Hermetic Philosophy

𝟏.𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦: This principle asserts that the mind is the creator of everything in the universe. It means that our thoughts and consciousness are the architects of our reality. Consider this: your strong belief in something can transform it into your reality, giving you a sense of empowerment and control.

𝟐.𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: This principle beautifully illustrates the interconnectedness of the universe. It states that there is a profound connection between different levels of reality. What transpires on one level, such as the physical world, mirrors what occurs on another level, like the spiritual world. It’s akin to saying, “The patterns we sense in the stars are akin to the patterns we observe in our lives,” making you feel part of a larger whole.
𝟑.𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: According to this principle, everything in the universe is in constant motion, and nothing is truly at rest. Even objects that seem solid are made up of vibrating particles. It’s like how a guitar string vibrates to produce sound.
𝟒.𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: This principle explains that everything has two opposite sides or poles. For example, hot and cold, light and dark, or love and hate. These *opposites are actually different degrees of the same thing* . It’s like how a battery has a positive and a negative end.
𝟓.𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦: This principle states that everything in the universe has a natural flow and rhythm. Things rise and fall, come and go, like the tides of the ocean. It’s like how seasons change from spring to summer to fall to winter.
𝟔.𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭: This principle underscores the inevitability of every action having a reaction. Nothing occurs by chance; everything unfolds for a reason. It’s akin to how planting a seed (cause) unfailingly leads to a plant growing (effect), instilling in you a sense of reassurance and confidence in the predictability of the universe.
7. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: This principle suggests that everything has both masculine and feminine qualities. These qualities are not just about physical gender but also about different types of energy and characteristics. It’s like how creativity (feminine) and logic (masculine) work together to solve problems.

In summary, the seven principles of Hermetic Philosophy are:
Mentalism, Correspondence, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Cause and Effect, and Gender.
Each of these principles offers a unique perspective on the nature of the universe and our place in it.
